I was born Christopher Joseph Collins on 1966 June 2 in Philadelphia to two people native to the city. While I did not grow-up in Philadelphia, my parents upbringing influenced how I considered the city for a number of years. I have lived in Eastern Pennsylvania all my life, and the Lehigh Valley since 1976 January. I currently live in the west-end of Allentown.
I work for a small company trading in repair parts for large consumer goods. I have worked for this company full-time since 1990 April. My primary occupation at this company is Programmer. My programming involves reports creation and data manipulation against a ERP/CRM package in a 4GL database control language. My knowledge of the system and data structures is matched by my knowledge of the business. This is probably the only reason I am in this job and this field today.
I am a homosexual. I came out before 1989 Christmas. I am out to all who care to know me, family, co-workers, and acquaintances. I am comfortable with who I am as a homosexual, and do not let that dominate my life or cloud my decisions. I am more than my sexuality.
