oh, bama
i have thought about this briefly. i beleive Obama played the perfect strategy by allowing McCain to attack him and ‘set the agenda.’ Obama had framed McCain as bitter and out of touch, without any real program for change, while Obama himself set forth a methodical, seemingly ‘middle of road’ strategy for change. Obama framed the campaign as he has answers and all McCain has is accusations. it is deceitful. it is dishonest. it is proving effective in spades. McCain looks set to lose. it seems to me all too well planned, almost as it they setup McCain for failure. it is part of the DNC/MSM theme of bush failure which they think they convinced the american people is true. since the Dems hijacked the bailout, they are seen as doing something, unlike the past two years, where they did nothing. everything seems on script.
the only way Obama can lose is if either he goes epic fail himself or if those who answer the pollsters lied. Obama does not seem capable of epic success. so, epic fail is all but out of the question. it also seems unlikely that that many people answering the polls could be that deceitful. yes, the sample is small, and, yes, it could be epic fail. with the DNC/MSM script being played-out, this seems unlikely. McCain cannot go positive enough to matter. the cards are played. there appears to be no magic bullet. It does appear inevitable. this was the Dems year to win. against all odds McCain made it a race. Maybe, that was part of the script.
