I also am a gay man who grew up during the 1960′s the point at which you were born.
The United States is such a different place now from what it was at the time of your birth! We live in a time now when Gay guys are much more accepted than they were during the dark period of the 50′ and 60′s ! My family was told I’m gay in 1982 but it was only 1 & 1/2 yrs. ago that I had the courage to make my declaration to the world ” I”M GAY ” and move on with my life…my friends say I burst out of the closet…LMAO !!!
I hope our new friendship will be of benefit to both of us…in support and eventually trust !
